Economist specialized in Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, with more than 36 years´ experience in consulting for the internationalization of companies, assisting their trade and financial operations between Latin America and the European, North American and Asian continents and vice versa. She is a founding partner of World Trade and Investment Group in Mexico, with offices in the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Chile, Brazil, Colombia and Hong Kong. Now representing Sumner Group in Mexico and Latin America.

Pola has advised public and private companies in the metal – mechanical, oil, gas, water, green energy, food, pharma, electronics and other industries. Some of her most important clients: Mattel, Chevron, Sinopec, China National Petroleum Company, TPV, Huawei, Worcester and HKTDC.

She was founder of the Mexico-European Union Center for Economic Studies; founding Executive VP of the Mexico-China Chamber; and Certified Auditor of the Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC) based in Washington DC. She is the current representative of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in Mexico; was elected President of the Mexico-China Chamber of Commerce and Technology in 2019, this last one being the organization that brings together the most important companies in trade and investment between Mexico and China. In 2019 she was appointed a member of the International Diversified Mechanism for the Resolution of Trade Disputes and in 2020 an Expert Advisor to the China International Commercial Court under the Supreme Court of Justice of the People’s Republic of China, the members of this committee are an elite group of highly qualified experts.
