The SGH N95 Particulate Respirator and Surgical mask is a lightweight, disposable, flat folded particulate-filtering facepiece respirator that meets the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) N95 classification of air filtration, meaning that it filters at least 95% of airborne particles.
SGH N95 Particulate Respirators are >95% efficient at filtering 0.3μm particles. This includes the ability to filter large fluid droplets (0.5 μm) created during talking, coughing, and sneezing which are common routes of transmission of water borne viruses like influenza/Covid-19. The masks are contour-fit tested to ensure that infectious droplets and particles do not leak around the mask.
The SGH Particulate Respirator and Surgical N95 mask are constructed of 4 layers of non-woven fabric which offers outstanding protection whilst providing excellent breathability and permeability. The masks are skin-friendly and soft to aid comfort and allow longer wear time. They can be used in various settings being effective at preventing inhalation of fluid droplets, air pollutants, pollen, allergies and dust particles.
These masks are presented individually wrapped for added reassurance, have adjustable straps and an adjustable nose clip to facilitate a tight seal and a comfortable fit.
